We undertake Fire Risk Assessments for single properties of all types (e.g. warehouses, offices, industrial, residential and educational facilities), as well as for multi-site portfolios (e.g. retain chains, housing associations and any other multi-site client). Our Fire Risk Assessors are members of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) and are IFE Registered Fire Risk Assessors (Life Safety).
The completion of a fire risk assessment fulfils the requirements set out in the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order which states that the responsible person must carry out, or appoint a competent person to carry out a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment of the risks of fire to their employees and others who may be affected by their work or business.
We are therefore appointed by our clients to carry out this fire risk assessment.
Our fire risk assessments include a management action summary that provides solutions to any uncontrolled risks identified by the Assessor
Formal written procedures for the evacuation of a premise in the event of a fire can be produced alongside the fire risk assessment and this procedure details the responsibilities of all relevant parties within the evacuation process.
If required the Fire Plans of the property can also be produced which can be used as part of the evacuation strategy.
